Ben began his career in the public sector advising the leadership team on HR issues associated with the creation of a new government body which he continued to work for in the initial two years of it’s establishment. After this he pursued a new venture working with the leadership team of a 3rd sector organisation securing funding to create the organisation and was involved in a wide range of roles developing his skills in HR, training and development, marketing and communications and project coordination.
In 2008, Ben joined the regional Strategic Health Authority as the Learning and Development Manager responsible for initiating and developing a range of L&D related projects before leaving in 2011 to work as an independent coach. He still retains strong links with the service and is an accredited coach with the Yorkshire & Humber Coaching register.
