Mandy is an executive coach and an experienced development consultant with a particular interest in personal development and leadership. She has considerable experience in team coaching and action learning, and has facilitated regional development programmes.

She believes passionately that equipping people with the right skills and helping individuals realise their full potential will help people make the right choices and embrace change, both for themselves

Coaching Style

Mandy has a pragmatic, holistic approach to coaching. Her focus is
firmly on the client’s agenda assisting others to achieve their goals;
cutting through limiting beliefs and assumptions and helping them to
enhance their self-belief and awareness.
Sessions are relaxed and supportive, led by the client and their
agenda, but guided by a coaching model. Building rapport and
contracting is the first stage of the process, and face-to-face meetings  are followed up with email support.

Career Background

After beginning her career in the NHS as a nurse, Mandy held a number of senior management posts in a variety of NHS organisations before moving full time into development roles. She has worked on a range of national & regional projects, involving a wide range of professional groups.

In 2008, Mandy left the NHS to work as an independent consultant but still retains strong links with the service and is an accredited coach with the Yorkshire & Humber Coaching register. She is an experienced Myers Briggs (MBTI) practitioner, and has supported the qualifying body (OPP) as an observer/assessor.
