Team Resilience
Resilient team; is the capacity of a group of people to respond to change and disruption in a flexible and innovative manner. In the face of adversity, resilient teams maintain their work productivity while minimizing the emotional toll on their members. Resolve challenges as effectively as possible, maintain team health and resources, recover quickly, display the ability to handle future challenges together).
Team resilience refers to a team's ability to absorb, cope with and recover from pressures, challenges or adversity. Resilient teams outperform those who are not because of their ability to both handle and thrive on pressure.
Our team resilience model takes its inspiration from an eco system:
Ecological systems are dynamic, they are confronted by surprises and changes and have to adapt. They need diversity to maximise their capability and strength. They have feedback mechanisms helping them understand the reality of the situation. They need connectivity and are interdependent. They work as a whole system not in isolation. They work with the changes accepting what is and adapt to what’s going on around them.
We work with teams collectively over time developing the key elements of our team resilience model. Supporting them to become stronger and more resilient in this compassionate, collaberative and supportive way.
